Review: Every Tear You Cry

For this review, I chose Every Tear You Cry by J.E. Parker.

I received an ARC copy of the ebook for a honest review of this book.

Here is a brief description from Goodreads:

Two broken families. One second chance.

-Clara-
Marriage almost killed me.
All I ever wanted was my Prince Charming.
Instead, life gave me a monster.
That nightmare is over, but my sons and I will never be the same.
I'll do anything to make them happy. Anything except fall in love again.
But when Brantley and his daughter come into our lives, my resolve fades.
I try to fight my feelings but it's pointless. Truth is, I'm already falling in love with him.
I only pray he doesn't break what's left of my heart.

-Brantley-
Marriage left me jaded.
My gold-digging ex-wife only wanted me for my money.
When she walked away she left me with a million reasons to remain single.
And one precious reason to keep moving forward.
My little girl is my entire world, and I'm happy to keep it that way.
I've sworn off women, but when I meet Clara and her boys, that changes.
The heart wants what it wants, and mine wants her.
Bottom line... Clara and her sons are mine.

*Every Tear You Cry is a full-length, 110k word novel.
Warning: Contains triggers that may be disturbing to some readers.

This was done so beautifully. I could see these characters in real life. Clara has been through so much. She doesn’t believe she deserves any happiness that she finds along the way. Brantley reminds her constantly that he isn’t going anywhere and she does deserve everything and so much more.
