Why didn't the mother say anything? Joe wants to keep Melina safe so he has Jack kidnap her thinking she is actually Maria, the drug addict bad sister.

Jack never thought he would find love, but he was drawn to Angel and her life in Ireland. Loved the history behind the torque. I was not used the way Angel spoke by using ye and other words.
I liked the first book more than the second one.
