Review: The Deadly Match

For this review, I chose The Deadly Match by Kishan Paul.

I received an ARC copy of the ebook for a honest review of this book.

Here is a brief description from Goodreads:

Our past is proof we survived...

Equipped with a new identity and a new family, Ally shut the door on her past and refused to look back.
But when her new life falls apart, she discovers the key to protecting her future lies in the hands of the very man who forced her into hiding.

Eddie stayed away for her sake and his own.
But when elements beyond his control come into play, he has no choice but to step in before she winds up dead.

In the final installment of The Second Wife Series, Eddie and Ally find themselves sucked into an international game of cat and mouse where the line between love and hate becomes blurred, loyalties will be challenged, and a past that refuses to stay buried threatens to destroy them all.

This is Book #3 in the Second Wife series.  This book took me a little longer to read because I wanted to make sure I understood everything I was reading.  So very powerful.  With each word written, you can feel so many emotions.  Ally went through so much in each of the 3 books, but I feel this one was the best.

I think the best quote of this book was kindle location 1509 in Chapter 10.  Kishan Paul wrote this beautifully and I need to share this with you all.
"Our past is proof we survived.  It's evidence not just of our mistakes, but of our strengths, of our characters, our values  Proof people loved us.  They found us worthy."

There is more to this quote, but I want you to read it and the first 2 books.  I promise this is worth reading.  This series has been one of the best I have read this year.  Kishan Paul has made human trafficking real to me.  More than I could ever imagine.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
