For this review, I chose Animal Planet Polar Bears.
I requested ARC copy of the ebook through Netgalley in exchanged for a honest review.
Here is a brief description from Goodreads:
With more than 200 gorgeous animal photos of penguins, polar bears, sea lions, walruses, reindeer and others, Animal Planet Polar Animals is a fun, habitat-by-habitat guide that provides kids in the first years of schooling with the perfect bite-sized view of their favorite animals living in both polar climates. Arranged thematically with focus on animal behavior and family relationships, young readers will explore sections about animal bodies, baby animals, food, play time, conservation, and more. Special book features designed for this age group include Quick Bites sidebars with cool animal facts, simple infographics, and illustrated maps of the coldest places on Earth.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Animal Planet's R.O.A.R. (Reach Out. Act. Respond.) project which partners with leading animal organization to make the world a better place for domestic and wild animals.
Beautiful and colorful pictures. Very educational. I absolutely love the photo of the husky on the How to Use this book page. Then, I was happy to see more huskies later on in the book. We have 2 huskies and I can tell you when they go through blowing of the fur there is hair everywhere!! My older son wants to go see the Iditarod Great Sled Race. It is going to be his graduation present.
My favorite was polar bear, emperor penguins, arctic wolves, arctic foxes,
I know I could not survive in the South Pole where the summers are -18 and the winters are -76. I did not know that polar bears can smell a seal from 20 miles away. Wow!! Harp Seals are my favorite out of the many different kinds of seals. The polar activities are great. The resources at the end of the book is great. I have taken my kids to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and we loved it there. We definitely want to go back.
I definitely want to buy this book for my daughter. She loves reading about ocean animals and I know she would love this book. My sons would love this book, too. They love penguins and huskies.
