Review: Talk to Me Cowboy

For this review, I chose Talk to Me Cowboy by Carolyn Brown.

I requested ARC copy of the ebook through Netgalley in exchanged for a honest review.

Here is a brief description from Goodreads:
One cowboy. One cowgirl. One ranch.
Who will win the Double Deuce by the Fourth of July?

Adele O'Donnell knew that Double Deuce Ranch had to be hers the second she walked onto the property. Freshly divorced, she sees it as the perfect spot for her and the kids to start a new life. Remington Luckadeau was always a carefree playboy...until his suddenly orphaned nephews became his responsibility. The Double Deuce Ranch would be the perfect place to raise two boys. But some fiery woman is fighting him for it, and Remington is not sharing-no matter how the sparks fly when he and Adele are together.

This is #1 in the Lucky Cowboys series.  Both Adele and Remington wants the Double Deuce Ranch.  Each has their own reasons.  Adele wants to start fresh with her 2 daughters and make it on their own without her ex husband.   Remington sees this ranch as a fresh start, too, but for his 2 nephews who lost their parents.  The owner of the ranch is leaving for a cruise and comes up with a way to see who will get it.  Both Adele and Rem has to move into the ranch and take care of the ranch....aka a list of jobs that has to be done before the owner returns.  Who do you think will get the ranch?  Is it what you hope will happen?

This book was great.  The kids were funny!  Rem and Adele had chemistry.  The rooster is a riot!!  I was hooked by page one and I read the first 18 chapters in one setting.  I can not wait to read more from this series.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
