This is a great start for this new series. It was sweet and a bit of sassy added in. Lilly has had a rough childhood and she does not know how to overcome it. Lilly does not trust man. She needs to let go of her past and start thinking of her future, but some people have problems letting go of their past. To me, it takes too much energy to hold onto the negative things in your life. Alec was just what she needed. I think he needed her just as much!
I can not wait to read the next book on Kane & Audra.
