This is Book #2 in the Cliffside Bay series. This can be read as a standalone book, but you will not understand some of the same details like why Kara can not be photographed and put on social media. I really loved Book #1 about Brody and Kara. One thing I love about series is that you get to see the other characters and the community.
I have to say it. Sharon was not the one for Jackson. She was the complete opposite of him. Mean and only out for things that could benefit herself!! Jackson has loved Maggie since they were 6 years old. He was heartbroken when her father told Jackson and his parents that she was killed in a car accident. Maggie has been living in NYC for the last 12 years. When she goes home because her father is dying, she goes to see her mom's grave and she gets a huge surprise. When Jackson realizes that his one true love is alive, he dumps Sharon on the spot. Wouldn't you?
I am hoping Book #3 is about Zane and Honor and we can see more into Jackson and Maggie along with Brody and Kara.
