Book #4 is Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold by Ellen O'Connell.  A friend recommended this one.

Book #3: Every Waking Moment

Book #3 is Every Waking Moment by Brenda Novak.  A friend recommended this book to me for this in honor of our friend, Donnita.  Brenda Novak's book is about a mother, who wants to do everything in her power to protect her son from her husband, who harms her.  I have not read this book, but I want to.

Book #2 is Hush Little Baby by Suzanne Redfearn. A friend recommended this one.  I want to read this.  

When you looked at the photos that Donnita posted of herself, you did not see a victim of domestic violence.  I saw a beautiful woman, who adored her family and loved reading.  I did not see anything wrong.

The first book I picked in honor of Domestic Violence awareness month is Every Tear You Cry by J.E. Parker.  I recently read this book and it reminded me of Donnita.  This book is in a series called Redeeming Love and is book #4.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month.   During this month, I will be posting a book a day that highlights domestic violence in honor of a friend, Donnita, who lost her life by the hands of her husband, who has been charged with her murder.  We were both Fool's Gold Cheerleaders for Susan Mallery a few years back.  I learned Donnita loved to read especially the Fool's Gold series.  When I heard of her death, I wanted to do something to honor her.  At the end of the month, I will be doing a giveaway.

Review: Every Tear You Cry

For this review, I chose Every Tear You Cry by J.E. Parker.

I received an ARC copy of the ebook for a honest review of this book.

This was done so beautifully. I could see these characters in real life. Clara has been through so much. She doesn’t believe she deserves any happiness that she finds along the way. Brantley reminds her constantly that he isn’t going anywhere and she does deserve everything and so much more.
