Every person has a story to tell. Some may be sweet with a happily ever after, but there are others that end in tragedy. Mine has yet to be finished. My name is Elizabeth Kingston and this is where my story begins. I never thought my life could be so perfect. I have an amazing job owning my own bakery, and a wonderful husband who I love and who loves me back. Never once did I have to worry about anything, at least, not until the texts started coming in. They always begin the same way … numbers that spell my nickname when read upside down. 31773 It’s someone from my past, only they won’t to tell me who they are, but that by talking to them, I’ll figure it out. It’s a game I refuse to play. Unfortunately, I’m left with no choice when things begin to take a dangerous turn. His name is Anonymous and there’s only one thing he wants … ME.

It’s closing time and Vikki and I are busy cleaning, so we can get home. My phone beeps with an incoming text and I look down at it and growl. “You can’t be serious.” Staring back at me isn’t a text from Jake, but from Anonymous. Even though I deleted and blocked the number ninety days ago, I still recognize it. Vikki moves closer, her eyes wide. “What’s going on?” I show her the text. Anonymous: 31773? Brows furrowed, she sits back. “What does that mean?” I turn my phone upside down, so she can see that the number spells out my name. Her eyes widen. “Wow, that’s cool you can type your name with numbers.” “But not so cool when I don’t know who the person is,” I counter. “About three months ago, I got texts from this exact same person. Whoever it is likes to play games. I’m sick of it and I want them to leave me alone.” Taking a deep breath, I type out a reply. Me: WHO IS THIS? Anonymous: Why all the yelling? I roll my eyes. This is just ridiculous. Me: I like using all caps. Anonymous: Don’t stop on my account. So, what have you been up to? Been a while since we talked. Me: Yeah, it’s because I blocked the number. Anonymous: Why? Me: BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!!! “What is he saying?” Vikki asks. I show her the texts and her eyes widen. “So, you haven’t talked to him since you blocked the number?” I think back to when I blocked it and if my calculations are correct, the ninety days was up yesterday. “No, but he has perfect timing. My ninety days ran up yesterday. I might need to run to the cell store and see if they can block it permanently.” My phone beeps again and a sharp pain settles in my gut. I just want whoever it is to leave me alone. Anonymous: That hurts. You’ve always been friendly toward me. Me: Obviously not friendly enough, if you can’t tell me who you are. It’s weird and it makes me uncomfortable. You need to leave me the hell alone. Don’t text, call, or try to contact me in any way. I’m happily married, and I want it to stay that way. GOODBYE! Heart racing, I log into my cell phone account and before I can block the number, another text comes through. Anonymous: Sorry 31773 but that’s not going to happen. The blood in my veins runs cold. Hands shaking, I block his number and my phone drops onto the table. Vikki picks it up and reads the final text, her face growing pale. “I don’t think this person’s going away."

What she needs is a job, and when Brett’s sister offers her a position cleaning houses and his other sister says she can stay at the family cabins, Angelica can’t say no—though it means becoming a neighbor to the maddening and oh-so-masculine Brett, who makes her want to say yes, yes, yes. But he claims to be a short-timer in the area and she’ll never admit—not even to herself—she’s been carrying a torch for him all this time. Zan Elliott has business at Blue Arrow Lake and then he’ll go right back to his wandering-the-world life as a documentary filmmaker. But seeing the Walkers again, seeing Mac again, brings back the best of childhood memories. There are lessons he learned then too, however. Release Blitz: One Week to the Wedding

ABOUT THE BOOK

ONE WEEK TO THE WEDDING: An unforgettable story of love, betrayal, and sisterhood
Author: Olivia Miles
Series: Misty Point, #1
On Sale: June 13, 2017
Publisher: Forever
Trade Paperback: $14.99 USD
eBook: $6.99 USD

Kate Daniels couldn't be more excited to be planning her best friend's wedding...in theory.

Lately, just thinking about gowns and centerpieces makes her want to hide under the covers with her dog and a good book—one that doesn't include a romantic plot, thank you very much. Maybe it's because her fiancĂ© cheated. Or maybe it's because he cheated with her younger sister, Charlotte. Or maybe it's because her newfound reputation as jilted wedding planner isn't exactly doing wonders for her career.

Charlotte knows she messed up. Big time. But she also knows something Kate doesn't-something that might bring them close again, if her sister will ever take her calls. But as time passes and silence grows, Charlotte begins to realize she can't hide from her problems forever, and that sometimes the only place to run is home.

With the wedding only a week away, Kate expects a few surprises. But what she doesn't expect is to find herself believing...in the strength of family, and the possibility of finding love again.

In the vein of New York Times bestselling authors Susan Mallery, Robyn Carr, and Kristan Higgins, comes the first in a new women's fiction novel from Olivia Miles.

EXCERPT
Alec was leaning against the pole of a street light when Kate approached. Dressed in khaki shorts and a crisp white t-shirt that accentuated every curve of his thick biceps, Kate’s resolve since her conversation with Elizabeth had already weakened and she found herself fighting off the urge to run her hands over that rippled chest--
And that was officially crazy talk.
It had just been too long since she’d touched a man, that was all. It was a natural reaction that surely anyone would have to someone of the opposite sex after all this time. Especially one who looked like Alec.
“Hey!” He flashed her a big grin as she closed the distance between them.
She brightened at the sight of his friendly smile, wishing the response wasn’t so automatic. “Hey.”
Alec gestured to the bistro. “It’s full, but the wait should only be a few minutes.”
“I don’t mind,” Kate said, glancing at the customers who had filled the stretch of sidewalk tables. It was a romantic restaurant, one of the best in Misty Point, but she knew better than to assume this was why Alec had chosen it. He was visiting town, it was close to his hotel, and from an outsider’s point of view it probably just looked like a nice place to eat. Besides, he was probably used to picking the finest options. It was surely nothing more than that.’
And she shouldn’t wish it to be.
Just thinking of how betrayed her friend would feel to know that Kate was siding with the enemy was enough to make her come up with an excuse and leave. Going through with this dinner at this cozy little spot would make her the worst kind of friend there was. She knew too many people like this already, and she didn’t want to follow in their example.
She stole a glance at him, taking in the strong width of his back as he casually studied the menu outside the restaurant, his hands thrust in his pockets, his hair wavy and dark and just begging for her to tangle her fingers through…Stop it!
She opened her mouth, knowing she had to say something, but not knowing quite what, when she saw him. Jake. He was coming around the corner, laughing that laugh, smiling that smile, without a care in the world. He was rounding the bend, coming in her direction. She watched in frozen horror, not knowing whether to hide or run. Her mind ran rampant with every worst case scenario. Was he coming to the restaurant? Would he speak to her? What would she say?
What was he even doing here? He was supposed to be gone, long gone.
And then she remembered. The phone calls. Charlotte. Panicking, she darted her gaze, searching for her sister, not knowing what she would say if she saw her.
“Alec.” Her voice locked in her throat, coming out strained and forced.
He turned to face her, his eyes growing wide at the sight of her. “Are you okay?”
“I need you to do me a favor,” she whispered urgently. Her heart was pounding as her eyes zipped from Alec to Jake and back again.
He hadn’t noticed her. Not yet. But he would. And soon.
Alec rolled his eyes in a joking way. “Do the best man duties ever end?  What do you need me to do now? Arrange flowers? Frost the cake? Oh…I know. Kiss the bride?”
“No. Kiss me.” She blinked, shocked by her own words. It was rash, impulsive, and desperate. She was probably sending him all the wrong messages. But she didn’t even care.
For once, she wasn’t thinking about the ripple effect of her actions. Or what she would say in five minutes. All she could think about was the here and now. And that if she didn’t have time to run and hide from the people who had publicly humiliated her, the most she could do was prove to Jake—and Charlotte--that was over it. That they hadn’t hurt her. That she was just fine.
Alec’s eyes flashed as the smile vanished from his face, replaced with a look of surprise. “What?”
“Kiss me,” she repeated breathlessly, her mind racing. She hadn’t even contemplated the thought that he might turn her down, laugh in her face, storm off. It would make it all worse--seal her humiliation. “I need you to kiss me. Right now.”
Alec’s expression was frozen and for a moment Kate was struck with the horrifying thought that he would drag this out, or turn it into a joke. She didn’t have time for that. But then his brows lifted and his lips curled into a devilish grin. “If you insist,” he murmured, reaching down to scoop his arms around her waist in one smooth effort.
His kiss was anything but shy as he pressed his lips to hers, pulling her so close to his chest she could feel the heat of his body through his shirt.
Her knees went a little weak as she let herself go, and for a moment, she wasn’t even thinking of Jake or Charlotte at all. She wasn’t thinking of the hurt, the pain, or what would happen next, when they broke apart. She wasn’t thinking of anything

AUTHOR BIO
Alex Grayson is originally from the south but has recently moved to Northern Ohio. Although she misses the warmth of Florida and often times detests the cold of Ohio she absolutely loves living in the north. She and her husband bought a house on two acres of land and live there with their daughter, two dogs, two cats, and 7 ducks. She hopes to eventually get chickens and a couple of goats to add to their country way of living.

Besides her family and home her next best passion is reading. She is often found with her nose obsessively stuck in a book, much to the frustration of her husband and daughter. On more than one occasion Alex found herself wanting a book to go a certain way, but it didn’t. With these thoughts in mind she decided to start writing stories according to her own visions. Although this is a new endeavor for her she hopes that readers find her concepts on romance intriguing and captivating.
Alex welcomes and encourages feedback, of any kind. She can be contacted at alexg@alexgraysonbooks.com.

WICKED COWBOY CHARM Teaser Blitz excerpt
Josie could hardly take her eyes off Deke’s strong arms as he carried a pile of wood the short distance from the box to the fireplace. To have those arms around her, to cuddle up next to him on one of those bunk beds—she shook her head to get the picture out of it and reached for the tin box of matches on the mantel.
“How many do you need?” she asked.
“Just one,” he answered.
“Confident, aren’t you?”
“Not confidence, just practice, ma’am.” He got the fire going with the first one.
“Impressive,” she said.
“We’ll get it warmed up in here soon enough.”
Josie sat down on the sofa facing the fireplace and took stock of the little cabin. A set of bunk beds covered the wall to her right. A doorway into a bathroom was to her left along with crudely made bookshelves with about a hundred well-worn paperback books. A deck of cards was in the middle of a card table with a couple of folding metal chairs on either side. A second table was fitted into the small corner from the end of the bunk beds to the wall and another oil lamp had been placed in the middle of it.
“We’ll survive,” Deke said.
“Who are you trying to convince? Me or you?” Josie asked.
“Both of us. It’s better than freezing to death in our vehicles. Lord, I wish I would have turned around and gone right back home when the first snowflake hit,” he answered.
“Me too.” She threw one arm over her head and groaned.
“Top or bottom?” Deke asked.
“Well, now that depends on lots of things,” she said before she thought.
Deke whipped around, his eyes big as silver dollars. “What did you say?”
She blushed and quickly covered her blooper. “I don’t care. I could sleep right here. Maybe I’ll wake up to find this is all a dream.”
“Okay then, I’ll take the bottom bunk. Rascal gets restless if he’s not sleeping right beside the bed on his blanket or else on the foot of it. And darlin’, if you wake up and find this is a dream, don’t leave me behind.”
“No way, cowboy. You are stuck with me for the duration of this damned storm.”
“And you, darlin’, are stuck with me.”
