I was just thinking I should post about how I post on here. You know how, why, when, how I pick the promos and ARCs I do, etc. If you have a question, please email me at: alwaysreadingreview@gmail.com and I will add it to this list. If I have enough questions, I will add a part 2 to this.
How are the posts posted?
I post everything after 8a on the day I am told to post. I don't post everything at the same time. I worry that Blogger will hate me! I post every 2 minutes until everything is all out. The earlier the promo post is posted the earlier I signed up for it. All of my book reviews are posted between 7-8a of the day they are due unless it is a book I have chosen on my own without it being an ARC then it is posted after I get the review on my blog.

How do I pick which ARCs I want to read?
This has changed a lot since I started my book/review blog. I will only accept an ARC if I think I can give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️'s to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s. I am planning a different way to give how many stars I give out. I am still working on a post.
How do I rate a review based on the 5 star rating?
This is going to be changing. I am going to do a post once I finish my new book I am reading to review. It will still be based on the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s rating system, but to get there will be a little different. A post will be up in less than a week.
How do I write up the review for a book I received an ARC?
I am always honest. For an ARC, I was given to me in exchange for my honest opinion. Like I said with the above question, I picked that particular ARC because I think by it's written book description I read at time of sign up I could give it a review higher than ⭐️⭐️⭐️'s. Another thing about my reviews is I email myself what I think of the book as soon as I finish it. This way everything is fresh in my mind and I won't forget something I wanted to add to it later. I do add a description from either Goodreads or Amazon with the links for those who wish to purchase the book, which is up to you to decide. I do not like to summarize the book in my review. The book description above for you to read. I don't give out spoilers. Let's say if I want to comment about a particular spot in the book, but I do not want to give it away. I will say something about that by sharing the % of where it was when I read it in my Kindle app on my iPad or iPhone. My reviews are normally on the short side. I am also thinking of adding a content warnings if the book has some triggers traumatic memories, cause anxiety, or get upsetting, but only if there is one already. (Click on the tag: Q&A)
How do you pick a promo to do?
I think it's 4-5 promos companies I have the opportunity to sign up for their promos/ARCs.

Do you use tags?
Yes, I do use tags on each post.
Each post has:
* the author's name tagged.
* the author's name tagged.
* if it's a series or duet.
With Duet, I also add series, too. If the promo that I was given does not have it listed that said book is also in a series, then I probably did not add that tag.
* what type of promo it is- Release Blitz, Cover Reveal, etc.
How do you keep all the promos organized?
I have a planner that has weekly pages that I write down every promo I do. At times, I may miss a promo or two that I forget to write down, but I catch them when the promos are emailed to me. This year I am using a different type of planner, which is a little bigger than past years. I write down any promo that I want to read or if it is in Kindle Unlimited.
Update 2/23: Since my promos have gotten busier, I decided to write every book that is in the Kindle Unlimited program in a notebook. This way when I need a new book, I can go to this notebook. I plan to put how many books are in that series and what the series name is.

Are you doing a Reading Challenge for 2023?

What else do you have planned for your blog?
