For this review, I chose Tripped by You by Jessica Buss.

I received an ARC copy of the e-book for an honest review of this book.

Here is a brief description from Goodreads:
Slow burn, but so worth the wait.

Janica

Befriending a professional hockey player, especially one like Ace, is not something I ever expected to happen to me. We hit it off right away, and though I might have not-so-friendly thoughts about him sometimes, our friendship is strictly platonic. I have a boyfriend, and besides, Ace is way out of my league.
Stuck in a broken relationship, I question whether I deserve anything better. And when I catch my cheating boyfriend in the act, my life collapses. Not only have I lost my boyfriend, I’ve lost my home.
When Ace finds out I need somewhere to stay, he offers to open his home to me. But can I handle living in the same house with the gorgeous man who has haunted my thoughts since the day we met?

Ace

Trapped in a broken body, I need a distraction to help pass the time while I’m away from my one true hockey. It appears in the form of a curvy brunette who works at the library I’ve chosen to study at. Our friendship begins when Janica promises to show me her secret study spot. And I’m instantly captivated. But then I find out she has a boyfriend.
When I learn Janica needs help, I have to ask myself an important question that just might change my future forever. Now that she’s single, will I do whatever it takes to show her I’m the man she needs and deserves?

I love being back with the Chicago Steel men and their ladies! Such a warm inviting group. I love how Ace and Janice’s meet cute!!  Their attraction is noticeable to everyone around them but they are afraid of the what ifs. Brace life for the unexpected surprises and when you find the one, don’t let them ever go.

I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
