This is book #1 in the Embers of Us series.
It’s a sweet story of loving someone from the other side of the tracks. Cassian has been in love with Vivienne since they were kids, but he feels her family wouldn't approve of them being together. Vivienne got tired of waiting for Cassian so she agreed to marry a man that her parents want her to.
Will Vivienne actually do as her father wants her to do? Or will she have the courage to fight for the man she loves.
