Review: The Right Direction

For this review, I chose The Right Direction by Kathy Coopmans.

I received a copy of the ebook for a honest review of this book.

Here is a brief description from Goodreads:

From USA Today Best- Selling Author comes book one in The Sweet Sin Series.
Meet the men of the rock band, Trained in Black.
“Our someday will come soon, Joslyn.” Those words were the last words I heard from Roman Nixon before I walked away.
I knew our someday might come, but not the one he and I had always dreamed about.
His life headed in one direction, mine in the other. While Roman became the lead singer for the successful rock band Trained in Black, I became a ruthless attorney.
He moved on and married someone else. As I was forced to observe him and his bride on the cover of every magazine out there, I deserved to suffer because of what I had done.
What I didn’t expect was a phone call that led to me becoming his new attorney.
After years apart, our opposite worlds collide. This time, we may get our someday. But first, we have to find a way to steer us in the right direction.

This is book #1 of 5 of the Sweet Sin series.  This is about Roman being a lead singer in a rock band, Trained in Black.  Roman is divorcing his wife, who was cheating on him.  The ex wife is a piece of something.  I think she is jealous and out for revenge.  Joslyn was his best friend growing up.  The one until they went their separate ways.  Now they are tossed back together with a mystery of who is trying to destroy them even before they are back together.

I love books centered around second chances.  This book definitely had me hooked before I left the first page.  Roman is a sweet man, who always had the eyes for one special lady, Joslyn.  Gwen, his ex-wife, I think, was a mistake and trying to fix his broken heart.  This had so many emotions developed when I was reading!
